Releases are served from cdn.pad.dev.
The pad CLI checks for new releases at most once every 24 hours and prints
a one-line notice on stderr after a command finishes when an upgrade is
available. The notice is purely informational — pad never prompts or
delays your command on a network call.
The notice is suppressed silently when:
PAD_NO_UPDATE_CHECK is set to 1, true, or yesCI is set to a truthy valuepad upgrade, pad help, or invoking --version / --help--jsonTo suppress notices permanently for your shell, export PAD_NO_UPDATE_CHECK=1.
